Bath Homeware was launched on March 1st 2024, continuing the 29 year legacy of the Knob Connection and is still located in Bath's Artisan Quarter on Broad Street in the historic City of Bath.

Bath Homeware is the last remaining vestige of the infamous Knobs & Knockers franchise, which once had 80 stores throughout the UK as well as branches in Germany, Sweden and Australia.

Although Knobs & Knockers closed in 1995, two enterprising former employees, Maurice Cousin and Conde Metcalfe, saved the Bath branch and formed the Knob Connection, which also had a branch in Guildford until 2017.

Bath Homeware is now owned by Simon Taylor, a local renewable energy engineer with a passion for manufacturing beautiful items and a keen interest in architecture and design of interior spaces. The shop is managed by Alexander de Montfort, an interior designer and experienced retailer. Maurice Cousin remains as a Sales Consultant and continues to provides important business advice.
